I'm not entirely new to fishing but new to reel maintenance, and I think I made a mistake. The bail on my Daiwa Saltist MQ 14000 wasn't closing when I turned the handle. I made the mistake of taking it apart, and now I can't seem to put it back together correctly. I looked online and found a parts diagram from Daiwa's website, but it's not very clear as to how it goes back together. YouTube has many channels on fixing a faulty bail, but none match my reel.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
