This was my first time fishing this section of the Neversink, right in the heart of the gorge. I started the day with a pheasant tail nymph, trying various depths, but had no luck. After switching to a squirmy wormy, the bite turned on. I ended up landing nine wild brown trout and even caught sight of a bald eagle soaring overhead. It was one of those days that made me truly grateful to be out there.
