First Fish on my new rod

Recently got into rod building, and decided to build a rod to flip docks as that’s my confidence fishing. Fished two days and it was an absolute grind, no keepers the first day. Second day went 2 hours trying new spots and nada. Rolled up to another new spot I’d never tried with shallow docks off rocks and on the second dock she nailed it. 7lbs 3oz on the scale. And it was a jig I put together which made it even sweeter
