I just started fishing (fished as a kid with my dad and grandpa, but new to fishing on my own as an adult,) and have been loving it! I started with a Daiwa Crossfire LT rod and reel combo (2500 reel) just a few weeks ago, and got super lucky to find an insane deal on FB marketplace today… TWO brand new, spooled, Daiwa BG 4000s for $100! Huge shoutout to the seller if he sees this post! Had to step up the rod a bit for the new reel, so I went with the Daiwa Aird Coastal. Super excited to try everything out tomorrow! Also, if anyone can tell me what braid this is, I’d appreciate it! It’s (supposedly 30lb) and a dark greenish color.
