Hello! I’m trying to change the original knob that comes with my Daiwa Fuego ‘23 LT 3000CXH and replace it with a Gomexus one that I just purchased. I’ve seen videos o people doing it and it seemed easy, but I’ve just removed the cap of the know to unscrew the knob and it doesn’t seem to have a screw. Does anybody know how to disassemble the original knob? Thanks in advance for your help!!

For those you have to drill out the shaft on the rear side of the handle (not where the plastic handle is on the other side). There is no way to unscrew it. The kit should have come with a new shaft to replace the old one you drill out. Personally I don’t find this process worth it, but to each their own.
