Any way to fix this without re-spooking? It’s pretty stuck

Press the casting button. Loosen the drag all the way. Put your thumb on the line and start pulling the line towards the guides, when it snags, roll the spool back with your thumb and pull again with a bit more force. It will snag over and over as you pull it out but as long as you don’t pull super hard and fast, you should be able to get it out.

Untie the lure/whatever is on it and slowly untangle it by hand, might be able to just start cutting the tangle out and hope you don’t cut the wrong line or just redo the spool

Pull and pull some more

Cut that knot where the free line meets the spool as close you can and see if you can pull it out. That line looks too thick for that reel, what lb. test is it? Might be part of the problem.

What lb braid is that??

Looks like you will need to purchase a Hook and Pick set.

That is some massive braid 😂

I could get it unstuck, but not through the picture.
I have never had to cut braid and re-spool. It depends on how much time you want to spend but here is what I’ve figured out and I have included a photo.
I always pull out as much line as I can (through line guide down towards the first eye). You will get to a point where you can’t pull any more line out. It’s due to overlapped line that gets twisted around the spool. I’ve marked it on the photo but you can clearly see the piece of braid that is locking you up from pulling more out. Try to get that crossed over loop piece and pull it out. Sometimes you can’t pull on it and you might have to let to spool spin back towards the other direction before you can get to where the loop piece is bound up. It’s very important you try to keep all the line you’ve pulled as spread out as possible or you might run into more knotting in those pulled out strands.
Go through this same process; pull out line, address the crossed over loop, pull out more line, ect. It took me like an hour to free my first really bad birds nest, but after you get a little process down it takes me about 10 minutes max now.

Braid looks strong enough to pull deer from the bottom 😅

Either keep picking at it or take off any lures or anything and take the spool out and try that way

you just have to pull this overlapping line off the line and it’ll let you pull it right out. this is a very easy backlash to fix.
