Im new to fishing and this is my first time spooling a rod. I have respooled it three times, let the line soak in warm water and no matter what I do when I crank the handle counter clockwise to release line is gets jumbled in reel. I'm using monofilament 10lb test on an okuma alaris reel.
Please help!

Think you need to remove a washer under your spool.
Its off center
