They are different charts offered from C-Map.
Discover includes more features that would be beneficial if you’d dual purpose with a boat.
If this is an ice fishing only unit you may not benefit from those features and inland would be fine.

My understanding is the charts come with preloaded social charts. And one doesn’t.
I use genisis charts that I have created.
So it really depends on were you fish for benefits. If you fish a high traffic area the social charts will be good. I unfortunately fish were no one created maps or some one did 1 scan 5 years ago. So I have to make my own most of the time.
Edit i also want to mention you can get the same charts on both devices. The difference is one comes preloaded the other you have to select locations and manually download to you device.
