My new (to me) fishing kayak is too heavy to carry by myself, so a cart seemed like a good idea. The Wilderness systems kayak cart to match it is super nice…but unfortunately they know it, and charge ~$250.
Sure there are tons of less expensive ones on Amazon, but I saw some plans & thought it would be a fun project.
It took about an hour and $50 in parts – harbor freight wheels, a 5/8” threaded Rod + nuts, some PVC, and a pool noodle. Pretty happy with how it turned out!
