First time buying my own fishing gear and found a Mitchell Power K at a thrift store for $10. Got so excited that I bought it without hesitation. Not a scratch on it.
Now, what kind of reel would you pair it with? A beginner level, but quality one is what I'm looking for. I don't know if it's good for casting, trolling, or spinning.
Since this is a vintage pole, will modern reels work on it?

Depends on the reel mount. Is it for a spinning reel or a baitcasting reel? Otherwise, a modern one will do fine.
