Congrats on the multiple PBs! Please take a bit more care in handling bass moving forward, avoid laying them directly on loose ground like that, if any ground at all. You should absolutely invest in a scale that has lip grippers rather than forcing that scale tip through the bottom of their lip. You could even just attach lip grippers to that scale and tare it before scaling the fish, but a little bit of conservation help on every front goes a long way.

You can get a measuring board instead of using the ground. Get it wet first so the slime coat won’t rub off on the board as much. Better for the fish if you plan on releasing. Otherwise congrats on nice start!
