Update on the garbage find, Speed Stick \ ‘Bass Handler’ pistol grip

I fished through my scrap hardware box and found a screw\washer that fit in place of the factory clamp. Took vice-grips and an angle grinder to the washer, reel fits good and solid. Mounted an old Penn Peerless #9 my brother had collecting dust (needs a good cleaning).
Might get around to test casting it in a month or so.
