I’m looking for a new rod and reel and heard this was a good combo. I’m looking for opinions and would love to hear if anyone has used this setup or recommends another based on their experiences.
I’m fishing in the South for Bass mostly. I have a 7 foot 9 inch spinning combo that’s medium/heavy with fast action and a 6 foot 10 inch bait casting medium power with fast action setup.
I’m wanting something that’s good with finesse fishing drop shots, ned rigs, and lighter lures like a rooster tail or spoon.

These combos are actually pretty decent. The reel feels kind of plasticky, but my son has a combo and his reel is pretty smooth. The rods for sure have a 10 year warranty that’s pretty easy to use. I had to take my son’s back one time and luckily he had the receipt still because they replaced the whole combo. Just depends what power/action you get to throw finesse stuff
