I've been using the Mermaid's Milk (all different scents they offer) scent gel from HookUp Baits for quite some time, and have had really great luck with it (or maybe I'm dreaming haha, but I do feel like it works well). Does anybody have a recipe to make their own version of gel scent at home? I've read a few posts online, and people tend to say to use unscented vaseline as a base, but I'm wondering what some common scents/oil/other ingredients would work as additives. Also, after heating up the vaseline to make it more liquidy during the "cooking" process, does anybody know how I can keep it semi-viscous? I am worried after it cools, it will be back to the vaseline consistency which is a bit much on the solid side (I am planning to put it in a squeeze bottle).
Here is a link to the gel I'm currently using by HookUp Baits as a reference: https://hookupbaits.com/products/2oz-crustacean-blend-mermaids-milk-scent
