I only started fishing at the tail end of spring and didn’t know what i was doing enough to catch fish till summer. now that it’s fall im not catching as many fish, im sure it’s because i need to change my approach but im not sure what to do? I’m sure others are feeling this too so any advice wld be appreciated !
I attached pics of my 3 go to spots so yall can give more specific advice if you want!
slide one- Fishing pond fed by the susquahanna river, lots of vegetation and some lilly pads near the banks, tall weeds (even in the clear parts theres only <1 foot of water between the surface and thick veg, the weeds are probably 5/6 feet tall) looking for largemouths and pickerel here
slide two- along the susquahanna river, slow flowing and only about 4 or 5 feet deep in the middle sloping upwards towards both banks, lots of evil snaggy wood on the bottom. targeting smallmouths and fallfish there.
slide three- Goodyear lake, the water is about 6/7ft deep under the boat launch i fish from but in theory i can cast out to 15-20 feet, rocky bottom but otherwise pretty wide open water. targeting anything that bites but mostly bass and walleye. The water is pretty damn clear in all 3 spots, especially #2.
anyway thank you in advance, im not ready to stop fishing it’s not freezing cold yet so hopefully y’all can help me adjust to fall!!

I fish less top water in the fall and slower retrieval on spinners spoons crank baits
