Hey I have some nephews who are coming up to northern NY/ Adirondack region in mid October. They really like to fish. I am normally done targeting trout by then because I don't want to interrupt the spawn. I am just wondering if the brookies and browns will be done spawning by then/ if there are ethical ways to target spawning trout.

Oof, the waters at Pulaski are really low this year. I bet it runs true for other fisheries in that region.
