Whats is this rod used for

I’ve recently started exploring saltwater fishing and I’m trying to figure out the best way to use this, Shakespeare 1413-260 rod. It’s about 2.6 meters (8 ft 6 in) long, it feels fairly strong yet flexible. It doesnt say the action power, it only has the model number in a sticker.

The problem is — I can’t really tell what kind of fishing style it’s designed for.
I usually fish off the coast of Portugal, around rocky beaches and cliffs, targeting sea bream (sargos) and other small to medium-sized saltwater species.

So my questions are:

What type of fishing would this rod suit best?

What reel size and line setup would you recommend for it (mono, braid, fluorocarbon, etc.)?

What kind of rigs and baits would make the most of this rod’s potential?
