Hello, Im trying to complete my baitcaster combo with abu garcia revo sx ss reel as I got a deal on it as I bought it for $100 brand new. Will a Daiwa tatula xt 11-42g be a good match for this reel? Also what diameter braid would you suggest?

I’ve got a Tatula XT. It’s a pretty good rod for it’s price. It’ll serve you well.
I would probably recommend on passing braid and going mono if it’s your first baitcaster. Mono is cheap enough where you won’t break the bank losing a good amount of line on a bad backlash while you are learning.
