Had a few minutes this morning, was thinking about how I haven't fished our pond in a while. First cast, good bite. I was using a bubble gum worm, and with a technique I use where I keep my rod tip up high and work it with a quicker action to keep the warm up near the top of the water, and on the second cast I was actually able to see this big boy eat. Had to sacrifice a rod this morning, but I think this is a Walmart special that I bought a few years ago that probably cost me about $7 and has caught me countless fish. I used my scientific measuring device, and was able to determine that yes, it was a big fish.
