Signed Book and Notes?

I bought this book used, and didn’t realise until after I bought it that it looks to be signed by one of the authors, Larry Solomon on 3-24-1979. I understand it reads “To Gary Harris, observe and experiment the key to the game – good ______ rises”. Does anybody know what the rest says/the history to this book and author? Thanks in advance
