I found some old reels going through my grandpas old fishing gear he gave me. Don’t know much about them, but they feel really solid compared to newer stuff and all seem to still work great (very smooth).
Mitchell 330, Alcedo Micron, Ambassadeur 5000C/6500C, Johnson Magnetic No. 3 Fly, Shimano Calcutta 400B, “A.H. Fox Gun Co.”
There are several of each of these and a ridiculous number of shimano spirex and solstice spinning reels that seem more modern.
