Hey guys,
Just got into carp fishing, so all the rigs, baits and set up is new to me. I read into some of the stuff and currently have two basic set up rigs either the Ronnie rig or hair rig. In terms of the Ronnie rig I’m using a size 6 hook with a 14mm pop up to try out.
In terms of the photo, would you say this is sitting in the water how it should be? Should the hook sit more towards the ground? Or should it float the way it’s currently shown?
I was also thinking of fishing with boilies and dumbbells. I know they are more sinking baits and the hook will be more towards the ground, do you think I should attach a cork to the bait to make it more buoyant or a snowman would be more better in terms of setting the hook?
