Hey! I caught this rainbow trout last week and sent this picture to some friends. They said that it wasn’t a rainbow, but was in fact a cutthroat. To me it has the pink stripe so it’s a rainbow, but is it possible it’s a cutbow? I’ve heard of them but these fish look so similar I can’t seem to tell them apart lol! Thanks in advance!

Cutthroat of some kind. Exact subspecies will depend on where you caught it.
Cutbow is my best bet. Seems mostly cutty though with the spot grouping and the orange line.
