Second time out on the new Lynx yesterday, and the first fishing trip. This hand sized bluegill was the first fish I've ever caught out of a kayak (although I've long fished in a canoe). I caught a few more bream (sunfish and bluegill) but I didn't do much bass fishing because the water in this river is low and so clear that I could see myself spinnerbait even at the bottom all the way across the river. I could have tried an unweighted finesse worm, as that usually works in these conditions, but I wanted to make sure I caught something my first trip.
