Not to beat a dead horse but… Forever I was a Simms guy.. I still think Gortex is the gold standard and their waders and boots always fit me perfectly. About 3 years ago I replaced my Simms hip waders and boots and the leak around the seams was never fixed and the boots are already shot ( about 90 days a year) Decided to try Patagonia waders.. first season and though the fit and breathability isn’t as great I’m all in with Patagonia. I was kinda sheepish sending these in cause I wasn’t sure there was a leak cause I couldn’t find it and I’ve fixed plenty. Anyway, within two weeks I get them returned and fixed from Patagonia for just the shipping costs. Guess it wasn’t my imagination although still pissed I couldn’t find it🤣
