Hello, I am relatively new to surf fishing, I've done a bit of striper fishing up in the New England area (CT) where I live. I am going on a trip to Puerto Rico (Primarily San Juan and Vieques but I also will be renting a car so I can drive a bit) and hope to be able to catch some fish from shore. I will be targeting honestly anything, but it would be awesome to land a Jack Crevalle, Snook, or even Tarpon if possible! Here is the gear I was thinking about bringing, primarily metal casting jigs and swim baits. Please let me know if I should bring anything else or don't need certain lures pictured! And any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

I went on a trip to Florida this summer, I normally fish freshwater in the Midwest.
I did the same as you and loaded up on jigs. I spent 90% of my time fishing with cut bait on a Carolina rig because it was the most reliable way to get on fish.
