I’m more-so asking those with seasoned, well-established and cycled tanks. I used to be an “every other day” type, but admittedly I’m now only testing every ~2 weeks. In your opinion, how long is too long between tests? Featuring my pretty boy Charlie.

  1. If an aquarium has been cycled properly, the water parameters should remain stable. Since some of my aquariums have been running for ages, I test less frequently except for nitrate (since I have to add fertilizer once a week). I routinely test the water parameters once a month, or whenever something seems odd. 🙂
