Hey friends – I was casting docks with a wacky rig and hooked into a giant.. she ended up running me under a thick grass mat and no matter what I tried I couldn't pull her out, and I eventually got broken off. Should I just accept that there's little chance of landing a big fish in this scenario (thick grass + big fish + 8lb test), or are there some tricks of the trade to work a fish out of grass with lighter gear?
