I’m buying a MX340, older UK made (?) river kayak in great condition. The 11 foot sit inside comes with brand new Sda paddles for only $65.00.
I fish out of any kayak I have, so, I’ll add a Skag, rod holder, anchor guide, and attachment for a stringer. I’m guessing I should be able to paddle up a river with this kayak & then float down trolling along the way.

Is it a whitewater kayak?
Well, you’ll end up with some killer paddling skills learning to keep that going straight! WW boats are designed to spin easily, and that’s what it will do. Not saying you can’t make it work, but it’s not a great choice. Plus an open sit on top cockpit is much easier to fish out of.
A skeg will make you face downwind in any drift BTW.
