My main is a BG 3000 no complaints love the spool
1 reel and pole costs more than both

I’m not a huge fan of the basic BG, but they are solid, and that’s a good deal if they are not abused.

If they’re both in good shape, absolutely.

If they spin and the drag isn’t shot, yeah absolutely
Bgs are 129 a piece, and the triumph is 100 each
You’ll wanna turn the handle and check the drags (I can explain if you want) and run a tissue or cotton ball over each guide (if guides are broken, the cotton will stick to the guide )
