Is that what I think it is?? Considering breeding her and my big boi (last pic)
I’ve never bred bettas before, but I’ve been doing extensive research for the last couple years. I love my Mr.Fish and would love to have more of him. My Runtz gal is also beautiful and I think they’d make beautiful lil babies.
I’m not set on this, so please tell me if it’s not worth it. I’m here for more guidance and advice from people who have been in the hobby longer. I just think their babies would be stunning!

I wanted to add she’s pretty young, maybe 8 months. I know you “can” breed them at this point, but I want to wait for a year
Yeah that’s an egg spot.
Do you have over 200 2.5gal tanks to raise out all the fry once they’re large enough to start trying to kill eachother? Don’t do it. Even asking about it in most places will get your ear chewed off. There’s already enough back yard and backwards breeders, don’t join them. Betta spawns can be upwards of 500 fish. Breeding is generally a no-no, especially if these are Petco/PetSmart fish. Horrible genetics. Bettas just have weak genes now a days.
Yep that’s an egg spot but I’d strongly advise against breeding them.
