I was feeding mysis shrimp. I didn't notice that I dropped a lot of food while feeding. I thought it was only a few extra. I walked away from my tank and came back to my betta looking round and bloated. What do I do???? The first picture is of him normally. The second is now.

I didn’t notice the shrimp because they were practically the same color as my sand. When I looked in. I only saw 3 extra on the ground.
I wouldn’t do anything, just observe how he’s doing and fast him for 24~48hrs. Once shouldn’t be a big deal
fast him for a day or two until he’s back to normal size
Lol stuff like this happens. Just fast for a couple days and he’ll likely be fine.
In my case, I learned the algae wafer lesson.
Is it only bloated on one side ? My betta has a similar lump right now and wondering if it’s potentially just needing a fast !
Just don’t feed him for a couple days. He will be ok.
Mine sometimes looks like that when he overeats, he gets a pot belly. Then sometimes I don’t feed him the next day .
