Betta Fish: Got a betta for my toddler…

And now I think I like him more!

He’s a super friendly dude. He’s named Sassy. He likes to be pet and I’m teaching him tricks. Any advice for other enrichment ideas? I’m a neat freak so I’m a little stressed about my stress over keeping the water clean.

We had snails. HAD is the word, bc we suddenly had 20, and I ain’t got time for that.

He was struggling to swim due to the filter, so I used a soap dish and marbles to slow the flow. Seems to be working… is that safe?
