I posted about Fiona 2 weeks ago explaining how I came back from school to find her huge. I thought it was bloat so I fasted and it didn’t change anything after 4 days. I was told she might be egg bound so I listened to everyone and gave Epsom salt baths and didn’t feed her much (when I do feed every 2-3 days it’s frozen daphnia). There’s still no improvement at all. She’s still swimming normally and eating. I put her in a smaller tank so I could control things more (easier to catch for salt baths and to do water changes) but there’s nothing changing at all. I’m not sure what else I could do. I don’t want to try to massage her because I read horror stories about bettas exploding due to it 😭😭 I turned up her temp today to make it 83-84 (was told to try this) and I’ll leave it for 2-3 days to see if that helps along with more fasting. Honestly I have no idea what to do anymore and I feel bad.

My betta is borderline translucent and eggs can be seen. She’s been stuffed with eggs and it was much farther back in her body. I would continue to treat it as bloat and maybe give her an epsom salt bath.
