Starting with the simple thought, “I wonder how I can make my own fly rod?” … then diving down the YouTube rabbit hole of how-to videos — and somehow, a decade later, having built over 500 custom rods — I’m just so thankful. Many of those rods have gone to folks right here on this subreddit, and I can’t say enough how much I appreciate the support and opportunities you’ve given me along the way!
If anyone is interested, I'm giving this one away along with a reel and box of flies on Instagram @ yellowfinrods. Thanks again!
