I just got this bastcaster a couple days ago and I’ve tryed tuning it to lures but no matter how much I losen or tighten the the tension wheel the bait still doesn’t fall. Am I missing a piece?

When your saying tension wheel do you mean the drag star? You are missing the tension knob so unless you carry pliers or find a new knob you won’t be able to adjust it.
