Hey all, recently found a used Shakespeare rod online (local and well known in my area, had a shop a while ago), all I know is it’s 2.7m, 2pcs, the eyes have been redone, and the casting is 15-40g. I believe it’s called the “Protec” but I’m not entirely sure as I’ve only got those photos.
Basically my question is will it be suitable for a bit of spinning on rocks and from beaches in saltwater? (uk sea fishing most of the time , so mostly mackerel, a bit of sea bass and a few others.) Also how old is it roughy? Just curious
It’s up for sale at £20 so is it worth getting? Even just as a spare or a rod I can just drop near me with a worm to catch a bit of extra bait or smth? Cheers!
