Was fishing up in the Granby area of Colorado. Usually I always fly fish but decided to spend a day throwing for some deep lakers. Caught a big laker before catching two of these special guys!

That’s a laker ? Looks different than the Lakers I’ve seen

At first I thought it was a king salmon then saw it had big eyes and a weird looking adipose fin then realized oh that is just wet wood behind it lol. Nice catch OP!
