UPDATE: Cycle fixed itself!!

I posted yesterday with my master kit showing an extremely fucked cycle, asking for help on what to do. After a 50% water change and adding bottled bacteria, I ordered prime last night and was gearing up to be doing daily water changes for the next month to reform the nitrogen cycle..

BUT IT FIXED ITSELF!! I am so so SO glad everything is okay now, and I did two tests to make sure the results were valid. Everybody in the tank seems mostly okay, and I didn't lose anybody. My betta does seems to possibly have minor popeye budding up though as his eyes look slightly swollen.

I do wonder what the FUCK caused such a bad spike only to just.. go back to normal. I did have a discussion in the comments that seemed to certaintly point to my new root tabs, but presently I don't know if my cycle would've fixed itself so fast if it was. Either way, thank you everybody for helping me figure this out and try to save my tank. I appreciate you guys!

One question though.. Could this have had any lasting effects on my fishy and my snails/cherry shrompies? I know bettas are quite hardy but this was still a really bad spike.. and I know shrimp are delicate creatures. Is there anything I should be looking out for/ do preventive treatment for now?

Once again, thanks guys. Y'all are a wonderful community of people.
