I had my tank for about 3-4 weeks and got my betta about a week ago, I am new to fish keeping and this is my first tank. So give it to me straight up, what should I add and what should I take out?

How large is it?
This is 5.5 Gallons with a heater set at 80 Degrees, and a sponge filter.
