Each enclosure is 10x6x6in so not the biggest, but better than the jars they were living in. The owner said they got water changes maybe once a month.
Well now they have warm clean water. This is one of my outdoor ponds which is heated to 78F and is filtered.

Will you release them into the pond? They get bored very easy with nothing to do
I’d expect them to jump out, just a heads up if they’re intended to stay in the net boxes
I’m curious if hypothetically you could have 2 male bettas in a very large pond with no issues, maybe there’s enough space for their own territory? I’m not an expert of course just wondering.
