he used to sleep in the anubias log bed when i had him in a standard 20 instead of a 20 long, so strange that he goes behind the plant holder?? how is that more comfortable than a fluffy leaf bed??? does anyone else’s betta always sleep in a questionable spot?

Hey it’s a betta. I’ve learned to just go with it 😭
If you’re genuinely concerned, you can take it out at night. That will train him to find another routine.
Mine does that too! I think it’s because it’s close to the surface and the intake keeps them in one place while they sleep so they don’t have to worry about it. Sounds comfy to me if I were a fish
edit; i just realized this isnt the filter – but my statement still stands it holds him up 🙂
