I was surprised to say the least, beautiful creatures but I have a fear of cows since a kid when one started running towards me in a field, then they all stampede together.
Harmless I know but there were a few calves so wanted to avoid anyway, never seen them in this wooded area before. Had to go around the long way to the river but managed a few decent grayling while looking over my shoulder!
