Betta Fish: Hey everyone! 👋 I’m new here and also a new betta parent 🐟💙

I recently upgraded my betta’s tank from 1.9 gallons to a 5-gallon setup. Not long after the move, he started showing signs of fin rot, probably just reacting to the change in environment. 😔
Following advice from the pet store, I did a 3-day aquarium salt treatment. It seemed to help! His caudal and ventral fins recovered nicely, but his dorsal fin still hasn’t returned to normal. 🩵
After the treatment, I did a 25% water change, but the water turned cloudy. I got a bit worried and took a sample to the pet store. They checked it and said the parameters were fine, which was a relief! 😅
Lately, I’ve noticed his ventral fin might be shrinking again, and his dorsal fin still hasn’t stretched back out. I originally had one small filter, but I felt it wasn’t enough, so I added another small one on the opposite end of the tank to help with circulation. 💧
I feed him 2 pellets daily at the same time, and he seems to be eating well. 🕒🍽️ Could he still be adjusting to the new setup? Or is there something else I should be doing to help him heal and feel comfortable?
