Betta Fish: My Betta’s first time in a big tank😁

Hey guys don't mind the setup I would like to share the story of this lil guy
So I have never had a fish before and never planned. I used to live with a girl who was from my office, she bought a betta and used to keep it in a bowl. No heater, no space to swim. For a year I kept pleading her to geta big tank but she never listened.
she decided to go to a remote place where temperature would go in minus as she found another job. I requested her a lot to get a heater but she never listened. Eventually we got into a huge fight and while leaving she "forgot" to take her fish with her.
Although I lost my job i couldn't afford an aquarium so I decided to order a 7 gallon storage container. This is her first time in it and I have never seen her much active before
I have ordered some wood, plants and heater as well . She had fin rot so for now I decided to keep some artificial plants(dw they're not sharp) in some aquarium salt and water conditioner.
I'm so happy for her, after a year she'll have a good life
