Has anyone any advice on how to improve my line lay? Used for the first time this week and worked great but seeing everyone's posts of theirs mines doesn't look too great

Take the spool off and see if thereâs an extra spacer you can remove, if not, itâs really not that bad.

It’s fine stop worrying.
Nothing you can do anyway the reel is made in a way that determines the lay, the up/down to turn ratio is set and I can not changed.

Your line lay is fineâŠ. Higher end reels can improve it a bit but your pics arenât an issue. Shimming wonât help in your case.

Cast it a few times. In my experience itâll even itself out after a cast or two
