I have a hospital tank set up. It has been established for about 6 months. I’ve always kept a single male betta in it… today I found this…. I have no female bettas and no inclination or desire to breed them… is there anything I can do to take my lonely male feel more comfortable? My research basically says he’s “horny.” I’d appreciate any advice.

I can add tank parameters tomorrow- it’s late here 🙄
Betta’s just do this, its part of their natural life cycle. He’s not particularly horny and you dont have to do anything about it. You can leave it or scoop out the bubbles if you dont like the look of it, other than that carry on as usual.
