Hello everyone. My dad passed away early September, and I'm going through the process of appraising all of his hobby gear, including fishing poles. I humbly ask that anyone who can take a look at my photos here and tell me what kind of pile I'm holding onto? I've never taken pictures of fishing rods before so I opted to hunt brand names. Hopefully that can give you all some idea of what I have. I'm not expecting to be told they're worth a fortune or anything, but it would be helpful if someone offered a general consensus of what they think. TIA for any and all help/opinions. I just don't know what I have.
Correspondingly numbered pictures pertain to the same finishing pole.
I've uploaded 40+ images to imgur because reddit has a 20 picture maximum.
Sorry, I know links are scary. https://imgur.com/a/REHOgrv

quality wise, solid but old. resale wise the shimano “bantam” and shimano curado are both desirable reels. some of the daiwa reels may also be worthwhile, but I’m not entirely sure.
the “fun” part now is figuring out which lures he had are worth money. the age of the rods and reels tells me he was active during some of the prime “wiggle wart”, x-calibur, reaction innovations, tekel and rapala lure runs.
