I heard it's easier to remove and also the best option for catch and release.
This is my bait hook for some small bait fish and maybe pan fish.
Potentially fishing the indian river/banana river, Florida (bait is live shrimp bits and squid bits cut.
I've never caught pinfish in the area but would love some advice.
I have read already a multi hook setup would be a beast and fast but I'm trying to take it slow.

  1. If it’s not a legal requirement, then yes, it’s perfectly fine. If it’s in a barbless section, it would be debatable, but I’d feel okay fishing with it. The barb is smashed down enough so that the hook portion of the barb is rounded off.

  2. If you jam you’re finger meat in the bend and rotate towards the barb and it doest hang up you’re good to go
