I have a freshwater tank that has been up with no fish. There were fish around 6 months ago but haven’t been any since then. Just plants. Are those an organism I should contain or collect to build food cultures?

omg i just posted these as well!! they’re alllll over my tank and my betta has eaten a couple😪 from what i’ve read they’re a sign for good tank health and are harmless but who knows! crazy though bc if you cut it in half it does not die, they just regenerate
